| Simon Achikgeuzyan was born in 1937, in Romania. In 1951 he moved to Armenia where he received a degree in enginnering. He Was a member of the A.R.F. and a member of the "Arappo" group. Has participated in the batlles of Ichevan, Yegheknatsor and Kedashen. In 1991 he was appointed the head of the defence forces of Mardunashen. He was killed on the 19th of April, 1991, during the battles of Mardunashen.
