| Garod was born in the Broshyan village. He Was a member of Armenian Revolutionary Federation. He took part in the battles of Kedashen and Mardounashen. He also fought in Oumoutlou and Khojalu. He joined Shahen Megherian’s regiment and participated in all the battles of self-defense in the Shahoumyan region. He later was lost, not to be found, in one of the Shahoumyan Battles.
