| Tatoul Grbeyan was born in 1965 in the village of Arek of the Talin region. Tatoul, as a student, worked hard to keep the flame of the Armenian Cause ardent in the minds of the Armenian students.
In 1990, Tatoul became a member of Armenian Revolutionary Federation. His dreams became reality when he was sent to defend the Kedashen village. When he arrived to Kedashen, Tatoul organized the Armenian self defense troops and reopened the only church in the village. In a short period Tatoul became the soul of the village.
In 1991 the "koltso" operation began, and Tatoul along with the Armenian freedom fighters opposed the Russian army and sequestered the Russian colonel but he martyred on April 20, 1991.
He was buried in Yeraplour’s Martyrs’ Pantheon.
