| Vartan Pakhesyan was born on June 1st, 1965, in Yerevan. He Graduated from university with a Degree in History and started working in a map analyzing laboratory. He was one of the founders of the H.M.E.M. in Armenia. In 1991, he was elected into the central comittee of H.M.E.M. in their 5th General Assembly. Was a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation. He particapated in almost all the self-defense battles of Artsakh. He as killed during the defense of Hasanapat.
