Vicken Zakaryan (1969-1992)


       Vicken Zakaryan was born in Lebanon on March 15, 1969. He graduated from the Melankton and Haig Arslanian College in 1988. He attended some courses in business administration at Haigazian University. At the age of five he became a member of H.M.E.M as a scout, and later joined the cycling race team. He became a member of Lebanese Youth Association of the A.R.F., in which he was appointed to various responsible posts. On April 17, 1992 he moved to Armenia and then to Artsakh. He took part in the liberation of Shoushi, and he martyred while invading Lisakor. He was buried in Yeraplour’s Martyrs’ Pantheon.
